Your Fingers are Spiders

Tracy Gold

Spiders
weaving webs
around my bruised calves,
my bristly thighs, my crooked shoulders,
my sleeping breasts, my tired arms,
my sun burnt face. Your fingers
are spiders weaving webs
between strands of my hair,
on the flat bottoms of my
flat feet. Your fingers are
spiders, weaving webs when
you hold my fingers.
Your fingers are spiders
weaving webs
beneath my skin your fingers are spiders.
